Yes, I did just decide to become a photographer while also being a full time mum, running a freelance marketing business, and owning a cocker spaniel who never really does what he's told. Great decision. No regrets.

I grew up horse riding, stroking every animal I could get my hands on, playing clarinet since the age of four, and being the kid who was absolutely, definitely going to do something creative with her life. I studied photography at A-level and went on to complete a BA Hons in Journalism and Communications. Life did its thing and I became a marketer and a mum. But something was missing. So I picked up the camera.



I started Wired & Wild because I wanted to do something I actually love - not just something I'm good at. And mostly because I wanted my daughter to grow up watching me chase something that lights me up, rather than watching me be sensible. She's three. She already thinks she's a photographer. So that's going well. My taste in music goes from classical to dance floors to mosh pits and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
